Baked Brussels Sprouts Chips *Recipe*
:::Baked Brussels Sprouts Chips::: Level 2 (can be made into level 1 easily)What you'll need:20 brussels sprouts (washed and dried)2 teaspoons hemp oil (or olive oil)1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt2-4 finely chopped garlic cloves (optional)Nutritional yeast to sprinkle on top (optional)Preheat oven to 400 degrees. With a sharp knife cut the bottom of each brussels sprout so that the outer layers of the leaves come off easily. Keep removing more off the bottom of each sprout as needed as you continue to remove the outer edges. Once all the leaves are off, place them in a large bowl and add the oil, salt, and garlic. Mix well. Place the leaves on a cookie sheet and bake. Check every 5 minutes to see how evenly they are roasting. Remove any leaves that look "toasty" on the edge and keep roasting the ones that still need a little browning (toasty are ok, but not too burnt) Once they are all done sprinkle with nutritional yeast for an added cheesy flavor. Eat immediately. I love using hemp oil because the nutty flavor complements the brussels sprouts well. enJOY!Yve Hart
